Studio Devon is developing a broad portfolio of clients, each with their own specific needs. Business customers range from small businesses to large institutions, with varying website complexity stretching up to online shopping. A number of our clients are community-based and appreciate our low cost and flexible maintenance arrangements. Many are located in the South Devon area, reflecting the convenience of having a local web design service that can relate to their needs, although we are just as happy working remotely with customers from across the country. Here are some example projects:

Edgbaston Investment Partners logoZephyr Yachting

www.zephyr-yachting.com

This Antibes-based yacht company asked Studio Devon for a website that showed off its comprehensive yacht services as well as its glamorous location. We were given the web content and lots of photos (unfortunately we couldn't justify a site visit!) which we were able to weave into a professional and attractive design.

We also provided Content Management to allow the customer to maintain its own news pages. Richard already had a website but needed it to be brought up to date with his latest exhibitions. Studio Devon quickly made over the site, bringing consistency to the pages and loading the latest information, all for a very reasonable price.

This international investment company asked Studio Devon for a straightforward yet stylish website that reflects their business philosophy. Great care was taken to source appropriate images and many design iterations were executed until the client was completely happy.

With the client based in London and Texas, this project was successfully managed without ever meeting face-to-face.
Joceline Bury logoJoceline Bury

As a freelance writer, Joceline needed a web presence but did not want anything too overblown or expensive. Studio Devon sorted out all aspects of getting a website published, so that Joceline could concentrate on writing the text to get her message across. Once this was joined with the simple and elegant design that Studio Devon provided, her website was quickly finished.
Babbacombe Festival logoBabbacombe Festival

The organisers of Babbacombe Festival first approached Studio Devon in 2008 to create a vibrant and attractive website to reflect both the area and the exciting events in the festival. As preparations for the festival progressed, we continually enhanced the site with up-to-date information and pictures.

Studio Devon is now the official website partner for the Babbacombe Festival, with responsibility for producing its printed publicity material as well. The 2010 Festival website was launched in November 2009.
Bishopsteignton Village Show screenshotBishopsteignton Village Show

www.bishopsvillageshow.co.uk

A thriving village in South Devon, Bishopsteignton holds its annual village show every September. The website was originally developed by Studio Devon for the 2007 show in order to promote it and publicise results and pictures. Since then, we have continued to update it with information about future shows as provided by the show committee.

www.hawkingcomposites.co.uk

Hawking Composites had a website but they needed to bring it up to date in terms of appearance and content. Studio Devon first migrated them to a different web host which gave them a reliable service, then set about the page design. We advised them which pictures would work well and talked to them to get a feel for their business. Putting it all together, we soon arrived at a simple but effective site.
the groom room logothe groom room

www.torquaybarber.co.uk

This Torquay barber salon asked Studio Devon to build a modern-looking website to promote its services. From a basic set of style cues, we developed an overall design, sourcing pictures and suggesting content to produce the end result quickly and within budget.
Tamar Trading logoTamar Trading

www.tamartrading.com

Tamar Trading, a builders' merchant based in North Devon, required a website to introduce their company to the Internet. They were particularly keen for Studio Devon to visit their branches to get a good feel for the business and to take on-site photographs for use on the website. Studio Devon quickly came up with a design which was then built on by the client until the final layout was arrived at. This company makes and sells art cards. The website, created and maintained by Studio Devon, contains a full product listing with e-commerce capability, allowing online shopping.
Magic of Christmas logo Magic of Christmas

www.babbacombe.org/magic

The Magic of Christmas website was developed for the Babbacombe and St Marychurch traders in order to promote their Christmas event. Emphasis was put on visual impact and clear information, for an affordable price. Studio Devon worked closely with Torbay Council in the production.
Emerald Yacht Delivery logoEmerald Yacht Delivery

www.emeraldyd.com

Emerald wanted a smart and informative website that reflected the glamorous world of sailing and motor yachts. They also wanted it quickly and at a reasonable price. Studio Devon developed this site, including design of the logo, and had it published on the web in less than 2 weeks from initial contact.
Torbay Week 2008 logoTorbay Week 2008

www.torbayweek.co.uk

Ocean BMW Torbay Week 2008 was the combined sailing regatta for the yacht and sailing clubs of Torbay.

The website was commissioned to advertise the event, attract participants and function as the central information point during the regatta. An extensive site, covering information for tourists, spectators and regatta racers, it had various interactive features such as a crew search forum and photo gallery. Developed by Studio Devon in conjunction with Splash Publicity. Three years on and the same design is still in use!
